Cleveland Firefighters Charity – Jack Gannon Burn Unit of MetroHealth Hospital
MetroHealth is one of only two burn centers in Ohio verified for the care of both adults and children by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma. Our center treats more than 1,700 burn injuries a year, including every imaginable burn—those caused by electricity, lightning, chemicals and smoke inhalation. We also treat injuries you might not think of as burns, like frostbite. With recent advances in care, many people survive burns covering over 75 percent of their bodies.
Cleveland Police Charity – Cops for Kids
The Cleveland Cops For Kids’ mission is to establish and strengthen positive relationships between police officers and Cleveland’s greatest asset, our kids. This program allows officers who encounter children who are victims of crime, abuse, neglect or other traumatic situations to respond not only with compassion and concern for their welfare, but also provides the means necessary to support timely aid and assistance, such as food, clothing, gifts, and other care.
